I didn’t know Fortnite was still that addictive. Seriously when I read this story I got this visual image of a kid just sitting on his computer and just playing into the night and eating his dinner in the same place.
On a serious note, the teenager is reportedly 15 years old. A research team was dispatched to Spain treat the teenager for what was described as a “gaming addiction.”
“After the teenager began to become isolated at home, refused to interact socially, lost interest in his surroundings, and would not seek medical help, the researchers decided he should be hospitalized” – Newsweek
I just wondered where his parents were doing all of this? I do hope the kid gets better. I know sometimes people’s love for certain games consumes their day. I remember I use to spend hours playing Unreal Tournament a long time ago. Sometimes, you got to know when to put down the controller or keyboard.
