Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift continue to dominate the music charts with their latest albums. Miley Cyrus’ song “Flowers” remains at the top spot for the eighth week in a row on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. The song is from her latest album, “Endless Summer Vacation,” which debuted at number three on the US-based Billboard 200 chart. “Flowers” is her 14th top 10 hit, including those under her former Hannah Montana alter ego.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift surprised her fans with the release of a four-pack of recordings, including a previously unreleased song, “All The Girls You Loved Before,” which is currently topping the Official Trending Chart and is set to debut at number seven on the UK singles chart. The song was originally recorded for her 2019 album, “Lover,” but didn’t make the final cut.
The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity from over 200 territories around the world. The charts’ formula incorporates official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales.
Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” has logged over 100 million streams worldwide for the eighth week in a row. It’s only behind The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay,” which had nine weeks of over 100 million worldwide streams since the Global 200 started in September 2020.
Both Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift have proven once again that they’re two of the biggest names in the music industry, and their music continues to resonate with fans around the world.
