A 26-year-old Amazon delivery driver was arrested on suspicion of assault after he allegedly punched a customer who complained about a missing package. The incident occurred in St. Paul, Minnesota, on a Saturday afternoon, and the police were called to the scene around 1 pm after receiving a report of an assault. When they arrived, they found a 51-year-old man with injuries, including a possible skull fracture.

According to investigators, the altercation started after the delivery driver dropped off a package and got into an argument with the customer, who claimed that another package was missing. The driver then allegedly punched the man in the face and attempted to leave. However, the customer jumped onto the hood of the delivery vehicle to stop the driver from leaving. The driver continued to drive with the man on the hood until he fell off a short distance later.

The driver was arrested at the Amazon distribution center in Eagan and booked on suspicion of aggravated assault. The incident highlights the potential risks and tensions associated with the high-pressure work of delivery drivers, who are often under strict time constraints and face high demands from customers.
