Netflix is basically telling its workers that if they don’t like the different views from creators of content, they can quit.
“As employees we support the principle that Netflix offers a diversity of stories, even if we find some counter to our own personal values,” read the memo, “Netflix Culture — Seeking Excellence.”
“Depending on your role, you may need to work on you perceive to be harmful,” the communiqué continued. “If you’d find it to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you.” – New York Post
Never expected to see this headline. I just wondered what other entertainment companies will have similar views on this subject? Sometimes it can very tricky when you’re mixing entertainment with real issues. I just hope people realize that.
